Specialises in

  • Breast cancer
  • Benign breast conditions
  • Breast surgery

I am a UK trained Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon based in Hove. Throughout my 11 years of post graduate training I have worked in prestigious units throughout the south-east of England. I have won an award nationally for research and previously represented trainee breast surgeons nationally at the Association of Breast Surgery.

I specialise in the diagnosis and management of both benign breast disease and breast cancer. I have a particular interest in advanced oncoplastic procedure for breast conservation. These include chest-wall perforator flap surgery to move tissue into the breast from nearby areas, as well as therapeutic mammoplasty procedures to reduce the overall breast size whilst removing the cancer. Finally I have an active interest in breast reconstruction following mastectomy including nipple and skin preserving techniques with the use of implants.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending my free time with my wife and two young children. My favourite activities include long dog-walks on the South Downs, as well as playing chess online with friends and family. I'm also a PADI certified Divemaster with over 400 guided dives, my personal highlight being surrounded by manta rays during a drift dive between the islands of Rinca and Komodo in Indonesia.
