I am a Consultant Complex Spine Surgeon at the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. I have gained significant surgical experience and am able to deal with a variety of spinal pathologies including congenital and degenerative spinal conditions, spinal infections, spinal trauma, spinal tumours and spinal deformity. I have developed a special interest in minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and endoscopic (keyhole) surgery to the spine.
I have completed an MSc degree in Metabolic Bone Diseases from the University of Athens (Greece) and is in the process of writing a dissertation to complete my PhD. I am actively involved in the teaching endoscopic spine surgery to qualified spine surgeons as well as teaching medical students, junior doctors and surgical trainees.
