I am a Consultant Rheumatologist specialising in inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, crystal arthritis and soft tissue conditions. I have a particular interest in early inflammatory arthritis.
I received my higher specialist training in rheumatology and general internal medicine on the South Thames (Guy’s and St Thomas’ and St George’s) rotation. I have been trained under eminent professors in a specialist Lupus unit (St Thomas’ Hospital), RA Centre (Guy’s Hospital), and the Hotung Musculoskeletal Centre (St George’s Hospital).
I was awarded the prestigious British Society of Rheumatology National Travelling Fellowship in 2013, and then again in 2014. I undertook my fellowship together with renowned rheumatologists at University College London, Great Ormond Street and the Royal Free Hospital.
I am proud to be a Sub-Dean and Lead of Long Term Condition Training Module, Year 4 MBBS UG Training (Kings College Hospital) in WSHFT.
