Spire Wellesley Hospital achieves Macmillan Quality Environment Mark at the highest level

We are delighted to announce that Spire Wellesley Hospital has been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark (MQEM) at the highest level.

The MQEM award recognises and celebrates environments that meet the standards required by people living with cancer and that demonstrate that they go above and beyond to create welcoming and friendly spaces for patients. 

This award is recognition of the tremendous achievement of our Cancer Services team who have worked extremely hard to reach this level. The assessment criteria for a successful environment include:

• welcoming and accessible to all
• respectful of people's privacy and dignity
• supportive of the users' comfort and wellbeing
• gives choice and control to people using your service
• listens to the voice of the user
