Professional profile

Following four hard, but very rewarding years of studying Diet and Nutrition, together with anatomy, physiology and pathology, I qualified with Distinction as a Nutritional Therapist from BCNH, the British College of Nutrition and Health. I am a member of BANT the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy and a registered practitioner for the NTC the Nutritional Therapy Council, the CNHC Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the GRCCT the General Regulatory Council for Complimentary Therapies.

I am also a member of the IFM, Institute of Functional Medicine. In order that my knowledge is continually updated and my Continued Practice Development is fulfilled I attend many post-graduate seminars each year.

Following graduation in 2006 I set up my own practice seeing patients of all ages, some of which are children and teenagers, addressing their many types of health issues. I also offer a wide range of functional tests, which gives valuable insight into my patient's current health status'. Working with my patients, I help to improve their diet and lifestyle with the ultimate goal of an overall improvement for their future health and wellbeing.

I am available for patient appointments at the Spire Wellesley Hospital on Tuesdays.

Clinical Interests

Personal Profile

In 2000 I became very seriously ill resulting in two major operations within six months of each other, with a three month recovery period following each. After this, on recommendation I saw a Nutritionist, and following her advice changed my diet and lifestyle. I was truly amazed what eating the right foods could do; it put me on the road to good health. This inspired me so much that I wanted to learn more and I wanted to help others in the way I had been helped, and subsequently enrolled in a four year nutrition course.
