I qualified in medicine from the Welsh National School of Medicine, Cardiff and I completed postgraduate training in vascular surgery at the Royal Free Hospital London.

I specialise almost exclusively in surgery of arteries and veins and my special interests include carotid artery surgery and corrective venous surgery.

My clinical interests for general surgery are hernia unilateral and bilateral, hernia repair, open surgery groin hernia repair, umbilical hernia repair, excision of skin lesion. For veins and arteries; aortofemoral bypass, arterial mapping (or artery assessment), artery assessment, carotid doppler, carotid endarterectomy, carotid surgery, endovascular treatment, radiofrequency (RF) ablation for varicose veins, thread vein treatment (Sclerotherapy) and varicose vein stripping.
