I perform a wide range of spinal procedures, from microdiscectomies to complex reconstructions for degenerative spinal conditions. I was appointed as consultant spinal neurosurgeon in 2008 at Newcastle General Hospital. I graduated from St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in 1993 and have a BSc and PhD in Neurosciences from the University of London. I trained in neurosurgery in the West Midlands and undertook an orthopaedic spinal fellowship at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.
