I have been working as a Consultant in Clinical Oncology at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care for five years. I specialise in the management of prostate, kidney and bladder cancers.

I am an expert in the treatment of urological cancers using both systemic treatments and radiotherapy. Areas of specialism include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted anti-cancer treatments, intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR).

I have a special interest in the field of cancer genomics and its increasing application in cancer treatment.

I undertook specialist training in North London. During this period I spent time running trials in advanced prostate cancer with the team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Following this, I was appointed as Consulant in Clinical Oncology at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care in 2018.

I continue to have a passion for research, and have been the principal investigator on a number of national and international clinical trials.

I have a busy NHS practice, with weekly clinics at the Freeman Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital, and pride myself on delivering excellent, patient-focused care.
