I graduated from the University of Oxford Medical School and completed my core surgical training in the West Midlands before undertaking higher surgical training in Oxford. I further developed my specialist expertise through two prestigious fellowships: the Oxford Otology and Implant Fellowship and the International Paediatric Otology and Airway Fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
I am a key member of the Auditory Implant Team at Oxford University Hospitals and specialise in all aspects of ear surgery and hearing restoration. My practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness and vertigo, glue ear, recurrent ear infections, eardrum problems, cholesteatoma and complex ear conditions. I perform a full range of hearing restoration procedures, including tympanoplasty (eardrum repair), ossiculoplasty (middle ear bone reconstruction), stapedectomy and stapedotomy for otosclerosis, cholesteatoma surgery, and advanced hearing implant procedures such as bone-anchored hearing devices (BAHA), middle ear implants and cochlear implants.
Alongside my specialist ear practice, I provide comprehensive paediatric ENT care. I treat children with conditions including glue ear, hearing concerns, recurrent ear and throat infections, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, snoring, sleep apnoea, tongue tie, speech-related concerns and breathing difficulties. I regularly perform children's ENT procedures including grommet insertion, tonsillectomy, adenoid surgery and tongue tie release.
My practice also includes the assessment and treatment of snoring, sleep-disordered breathing, nasal obstruction, sinus problems, neck lumps, swallowing difficulties and voice or throat conditions in both adults and children.
Alongside my clinical work, I hold several leadership and educational roles. I am a Council Member of ENT UK and the British Society of Otology (BSO), and I serve as Lead for Clinical Governance and Audit within the Oxford University Hospitals ENT Department, helping to maintain high standards of patient safety, quality improvement and clinical care.
I am also actively involved in surgical education and training as an Educational Supervisor for junior doctors and higher surgical trainees within the Oxford ENT Training Programme. In addition, I serve as a Regional Specialty Adviser for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and remain committed to supporting the next generation of ENT surgeons through teaching, mentorship and professional development.
