I undertook my medical training at Cambridge University and Oxford Clinical School. I trained in Ophthalmic surgery at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre and the world famous Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
I have been a Consultant at the King Edward V11 Hospital, Windsor and the Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS trusts since 1999. I have a special interest in refractive surgery (laser vision correction), refractive cataract surgery, accommodative and multifocal lens implants, retina and macula (especially therapy for macular degeneration including lucentis, avastin and IOLvip) and eyelid plastic surgery as well as all aspects of general ophthalmology. I am officially recognised for IOLvip and Crystalens implants and undertake cutting edge treatments for keratoconus including INTACs and collagen crosslinking. I regularly lecture at local, national and international meetings. I am a reviewer for national and international medical journals.
