After graduating from Oxford with a First Class Honours degree, I completed clinical training in Oxford and junior doctor posts in London. A period of 2 years research funded by the Leukaemia Research Fund led to a doctorate and after completing postgraduate training in haematology, I was appointed Consultant Haematologist in 1999. After 9 years as a Consultant in West London, I moved to Wexham Park Hospital, where I am Lead Consultant for Leukaemia and for Venous Thromboembolism (blood clots).
I treat a full range of blood disorders and am particularly interested in malignancies of the blood and lymph glands and in anticoagulation therapies.
