I am a highly experienced pain consultant with over 20 years of experience working within an exceptionally regarded multidisciplinary pain clinic at my NHS base in Frimley Park hospital. I am one of a few full-time pain specialists in the area and am the Clinical lead for the Frimley Health pain service which includes Wexham and Heatherwood hospitals.
I completed a prestigious pain fellowship at St Bartholomew's hospital, London after gaining experience of pain management at St Thomas’ and Kings College hospitals
I am part of the court of examiners for the Faculty of Pain Medicine and am a Royal College of Anaesthetists representative at consultant interview panels. I am a committee member of the Interventional pain Group of the British Pain Society and Course Director of the International Ultrasound guided Pain Interventions Workshop at the Royal College of Physicians.
I have helped organise several national and international courses to train pain management doctors improve their skills and have a special interest in ultrasound guided pain management techniques.
I work within a busy practice seeing over 1000 patients a year both in the NHS and privately. I am one of the leading pain management consultants in Surrey and Hampshire who have been instrumental in the introduction of several innovative pain management techniques for my patients including the use of Botox treatment for migraine and the use of Capsacin patch therapy for nerve pain. I lead in the area of research and education within pain management and I am regularly invited as faculty for international conferences.
