Specialises in
I am a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia with over a decade of experience helping people manage complex musculoskeletal, spinal and nerve-related (neuropathic) pain. I treat a wide range of conditions, including neck and back pain, sciatica, joint pain and persistent pain following surgery. My focus is always on helping you regain movement, improve day-to-day function and enhance your overall quality of life.
I understand that living with ongoing pain can affect every part of your life. I take time to listen carefully and clearly explain your condition in a way that makes sense, so you feel informed and reassured. I then work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that reflects your needs, goals and lifestyle.
I have particular expertise in diagnosing and treating conditions such as neck and back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac joint pain, coccyx pain, and pain affecting the shoulder, hip and knee. I also have a strong interest in sports and overuse injuries, persistent post-surgical pain, myofascial pain (pain arising from muscles and soft tissues) and more complex nerve-related pain conditions.
My practice focuses on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures designed to target pain accurately and safely. These include spinal and epidural injections, facet joint and sacroiliac joint injections, nerve root and peripheral nerve blocks, as well as radiofrequency ablation, a treatment that uses heat to reduce pain signals from specific nerves. I also perform ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal injections, including regenerative injection therapies, as part of a broader, personalised treatment approach.
I have extensive experience managing complex pain conditions in both NHS and private practice. Alongside interventional treatments, I take a holistic approach, combining procedures with rehabilitation and broader pain management strategies to support long-term recovery and improved function.
I am a Pain Consultant at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital and an Honorary Pain Consultant at St George’s Hospital. Patients often value my calm, compassionate and thorough manner, particularly my commitment to helping them understand their condition and feel confident about their treatment journey.
