I am a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist with specialist expertise in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers, including cervical, ovarian, uterine, and vulval cancers.
I also specialise in complex benign gynaecological surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive (laparoscopic) techniques. Whether it’s managing fibroids, ovarian cysts, or performing advanced pelvic surgery, I provide evidence-based, patient-centred care tailored to your needs.
Services include: gynaecological cancer screening and treatment, complex laparoscopic surgery, including fibroid removal, management of abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, and other gynaecological conditions and second opinions and personalised treatment planning.
With a commitment to clinical excellence and holistic care, I aim to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of treatment in a supportive and understanding environment.
With a strong commitment to improving patient access and outcomes, I perform over 500 gynaecological operations annually, ranging from minor procedures to highly complex major surgeries. My surgical expertise is trusted by multiple NHS hospitals across the UK, where I support waiting list reduction initiatives, helping to deliver timely care to women in need.
My journey in gynaecology began in 1999, with 5 formative years of clinical practice in India, where I developed a strong foundation in women’s health. I moved to the UK to pursue further training and have since built a career defined by clinical excellence, academic depth, and international perspective.
Over the years, I completed comprehensive training across renowned UK hospitals, including St George’s Hospital, The Royal Marsden, and University Hospital Bristol, where I also undertook subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology. My interest in global healthcare systems led me to the United States, where I explored surgical techniques and service models to enhance my practice even further.]
I have been exclusively working in gynaecological oncology since 2008, and for the past 10 years, I have served as a consultant gynaecological oncologist, performing high-volume cancer and complex benign surgery. Alongside clinical care, I completed a research degree, which underpins my commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred practice.
Alongside my dedicated surgical team, I travel across the country to provide specialist gynaecological procedures, including advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. This high-volume experience ensures consistency, precision, and the highest standards of surgical care for every patient.
If you're seeking a consultant with both technical excellence and a passion for improving access to care, you're in safe hands.
