Treatment restrictions due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

As part of our longstanding relationship, we are proud to be dedicating our resources to the NHS at this important time. As a result many of our treatments are currently suspended and we are reviewing all planned procedures and consultations. I became a registrar in cardiothoracic surgery at St Thomas' Hospital and King's College Hospital, and was then awarded a clinical research fellowship at the British Heart Foundation Laboratories of Professor Ajay Shah at King's College Hospital and Medical School.

Having completed my MD Clinical Research Fellowship in 2005, I was awarded my MD from the University of London and was awarded the Arris and Gale Lectureship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (2009-10). I then completed my national higher surgical training in cardiothoracic surgery at St Bartholomew's, London Chest, Royal Brompton, Manchester Royal Infirmary and Harefield Hospital. I was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon and Senior Lecturer at St George's Hospital and Medical School in 2013.
