Specialises in

I am a registered paediatric dietitian with more than 20 years' experience at Southampton Children's Hospital, specialising in gastroenterology and food allergies. I am professionally trained and qualified to assess, diagnose and treat nutrition related conditions from birth to 18 years. Using the latest evidence and consensus guidelines, I provide an individually tailored dietary plan for the following medical conditions; food allergies including cow's milk allergy, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, anaemia, constipation, coeliac disease and faltering growth.

Due to popular demand from parents, referring GPs and hospital consultants, I have now established a unique gastro-allergy paediatric dietetic service at the Spire Southampton Hospital working with Professor Mark Beattie and Dr Akshay Batra, consultant paediatric gastroenterologists and Dr Mich Lajeunesse, consultant paediatric allergist and immunologist. I am also the paediatric dietetic advisor to children's services for Spire hospitals around the UK.

In addition to my clinical work, I am also proud to be the dietetic representative of the Research Working Group within the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. My research interests include non-IgE food allergies and Inflammatory Bowel Disease and I have been asked to present my research at many national and international conferences including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
