I am a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a special interest in rhinology (conditions affecting the nose and sinuses). I was appointed as a consultant in the NHS in 2018 at University Hospital Southampton (UHS) providing tertiary rhinology services for the central south coast. My private practice provides consultations for general ENT conditions and problems with the nose and sinuses.
I completed my medical training at the Royal Free and University College Medical School in central London. After my basic surgical rotations. I completed ENT higher surgical training on the London rotation in several large complex referral teaching hospitals including; Great Ormond Street Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal London Hospital and over two years at the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital (RNTNE). Through this, I developed an interest in conditions affecting the nose and sinuses and tailored my training to further my experience of complex sinus surgery and nasal reconstructive surgery.
I ensure I maintain my knowledge and skills through membership and attendance at UK and international rhinology society meetings.
In addition to my clinical work, I have a passion for medical education and am the educational supervisor lead for ENT trainees at Southampton.
I have a strong interest in improving care and I am also the current Clinical Effectiveness lead for the ENT department at UHS.
