I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist based at Southampton General Hospital since 2013.
After graduating from Southampton University Medical school I completed my specialist ophthalmology training in the highly regarded centres of Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham and The Bristol Eye Hospital.
Subsequently I undertook two years of subspecialty training in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus including a prestigious fellowship at Sickkids, Toronto, for which I was awarded the JD Morin prize for best fellow. My second fellowship was at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where I gained extensive knowledge and training in treating children's eye diseases and squints.
I specialise in cataract surgery, children's eye disease, adult squints, double vision and complex oculomotility disorders.
I am currently Deputy Clinical Director for Ophthalmology at Southampton General Hospital and Lead the CESR article 14 Ophthalmology Training program.
In addition to my clinical work I also participate in advisory boards for the pharmaceutical industry on Femto cataract surgery and Treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity.
I am also part of the interview panel for the specialist ophthalmology training program for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

I am currently Deputy Clinical Director for Ophthalmology at Southampton General Hospital and I lead the CESR article 14 training program for trainee ophthalmologists.
I am happily married with two cats and am currently enjoying renovating my Edwardian house.
