Spire Portsmouth Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
My research interests include arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, reverse geometry shoulder replacement and complex ligament injuries of the elbow. I have published articles in leading orthoapedic journals and presented at a variety of national and international conferences. I have been invited to write a chapter on reverse geometry shoulder replacement for the new edition of the Oxford Textbook of Orthopaedics and Trauma. In 2005 I was awarded the Charles Neer Award for Shoulder Surgery by the American Shoulder and Elbow Society.
Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust
My main interests outside of medicine are my family and sport. I played football and rugby for many years but have now hung up my boots. However I still enjoy windsurfing and the occasional game of tennis when time allows. I speak fluent French.
