After graduating from medical school in 1991 and completing my post graduation in 1997, I have gained wide experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. My training in obstetrics & gynaecology was followed by further training in colposcopy and general gynaecology.
I have published several articles in peer reviewed journals. I enjoy teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and regularly present at national and international conferences.
My main interests are in general gynaecology including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain and endometriosis and investigating postmenopausal bleeding. I perform procedures to deal with heavy menstrual bleeding and other menstrual problems. I am accredited colposcopist and perform diagnostic procedures and treatments for abnormal cervical smears and precancerous cervical cells.
I am the lead colposcopist and lead for antenatal diabetes services at Walsall Manor Hospital.
