I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon providing private urology services in Worcester, across Worcestershire, as well as Birmingham, alongside my NHS role at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, where I have worked since October 2013 at Birmingham Heartlands, Solihull, and Good Hope Hospitals.
I offer patients a comprehensive and evidence‑based urology service, focused on clear communication and individualised care.
My clinical interests span both benign and malignant urological conditions, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer, with expertise in modern diagnostic pathways such as one‑stop prostate and haematuria (blood in urine) services, PSA testing, and prostate biopsy, including targeted and MRI/ultrasound fusion biopsies.
I also treat urinary stone disease, providing advanced management including lithotripsy and flexible ureterorenoscopy.
I have extensive experience in managing lower urinary tract symptoms, particularly those caused by prostate enlargement, offering treatments such as TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate) and GreenLight Laser Prostatectomy, as well as minimally invasive therapies including UroLift and Rezum steam therapy.
In addition, I manage urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, including botulinum toxin injections, and provide specialist care for erectile dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and male infertility.
My practice also includes the treatment of upper urinary tract transitional cell tumours using laser techniques, alongside a wide range of peno‑scrotal surgical procedures, such as circumcision, vasectomy, epididymal cyst excision, hydrocele surgery, orchidopexy, and orchidectomy.
I was born and raised in the West Midlands and qualified in Medicine from the University of Manchester (MB ChB Hons), with specialist training in North West London and completion of my higher urological training on the West Midlands Specialist Training Rotation.
I have published widely and presented at numerous national and international urology meetings, and I hold the title of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
I currently serve as Governance Lead for Quality and Safety at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in teaching and examining medical students, contributing to undergraduate education at Birmingham Heartlands, Solihull, and Good Hope Hospitals.
As a Worcester and Birmingham‑based Consultant Urologist, I provide timely access to specialist investigation and treatment, combining advanced surgical techniques with a patient‑first approach. I always take time to listen, ensure patients feel fully informed, and support shared decision‑making using the latest clinical evidence.
