I graduated in medicine from the University of Bombay in 1986. Further to completing specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in the UK, I have been practising as a Consultant at the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust for more than 10 years. I have been awarded the CCST (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training) in the UK, having passed the FRCS (T&O) examination of the intercollegiate board in the UK in 2002. I was also awarded the degree of MCH (Orthopaedics) from the University of Liverpool. I completed two knee fellowships in the UK with specialist knee surgeons in Bournemouth and Southampton and also acquired specialist training in foot and ankle surgery in Liverpool. My area of expertise includes knee and foot surgery.
