I am a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Spire Little Aston and at University Hospital Birmingham Foundation Trust and Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust in Sutton Coldfield. Apart from general orthopaedics, I specialise in sports surgery performing open and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee (including knee replacement) as well as joint arthroplasty and cartilage grafting procedures.
Having completed my higher training in orthopaedics within the West Midlands I completed two advanced surgical fellowships; the first in knee surgery (joint replacement and sports injuries) at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, the second in sports surgery at the Sports Medicine Centre, Calgary, Canada.
I am the honorary club surgeon for Walsall Football Club, BCFC and a number of other sporting teams in the region.
I'm a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, World Orthopaedic Concern and the British Association of Knee Surgery.

I am married with two daughters. I love many types of sport including hockey, cricket, football, skiing and scuba diving. I enjoy competing in several different annual sporting events for charity including running and I have previously climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
