I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon for the last 16 years with special interest in robotic renal surgery and surgery of benign prostatic enlargement.
I specialise in advanced diagnostic services for prostate cancer and stone disease, including GreenLight laser (XPS system) vaporisation of the prostate and HoLEP – a unique service: Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate. My expertise also covers male sexual dysfunction and urinary symptoms, as well as minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery for kidney cancer and kidney disease. In addition, I manage ureter and adrenal benign prostate enlargement related conditions and urinary tract infections.
I have performed more than 500 robotic procedures and over 1,000 procedures in benign prostate enlargement, including over 500 Holmium laser enucleation of prostate (HoLEP) procedures.
I am a trainer and mentor and involved in research. I am the Regional Director for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Joint College/Specialty Association representative on the Specialist Advisory Committee in Urology, UK.
