I also offer surgery for watery eyes, droopy eyelids (ptosis), ingrowing eyelashes, enlropion/ ectropion, orbital tumours. Surgery for blind/painful/unsightly eyes/ socket surgery. Thyroid eye disease, penocular lid lesions.
I have been a consultant ophthalmologist for 16 years and am an expert in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery. Prior to taking up my consultant post I carried out Fellowships with world renound experts in cosmetic and Oculoplastic surgery first in Southampton and Salisbury hospitals and then at Moorfield's Eye hospital in London. I have a strong training record in both Oculoplastic surgery and Cataract surgery and I am an examiner for the Royal college of Ophthalmologists.
I specialise in oculoplastic surgery with specific interest in cosmetic surgery (including Blepharoplasty), eyelid malposition (ptosis, entropion, ectropion), Lacrimal (watery eye) disorders, periocular tumour excision and reconstruction, thyroid eye disease, orbital tumours and socket surgery (including evisceration and orbital implants).
In my NHS and private practice I have for the last 16 years had at least 3 operating lists per week during which 1 operate on Oculoplastic/ Orbital and lacrimal surgical cases. Additionally I have a least 1 cataract surgery operating list( 6 -7 cases per list). Audits of my practice reveal high success rates and low complication rates of surgery.

In addition to my clinical work I am a senior examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
