I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and Robotic and Endometriosis Specialist with expertise in advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, complex endometriosis, fibroids, menopause care, and complex benign gynaecology. I graduated from the University of Leicester – Warwick Medical School, UK and completed a PhD at the University of Leicester, UK. I undertook most of my specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in the East Midlands before completing my final training in the West Midlands.

I previously worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB), specialising in Gynaecological Oncology and Minimal Access Surgery, before transitioning into full-time private practice. I have extensive expertise in robotic and advanced laparoscopic surgery and I have performed over 1,000 laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.

I specialise in the management of endometriosis, fibroids, robotic myomectomy, menopause, PMDD/PMS, PCOS, ovarian cysts, heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, vulval disorders, and complex benign gynaecological conditions. I have helped establish the robotic Midlands Endometriosis Centre at The Harborne Hospital, where I perform robotic-assisted excision of deep infiltrating endometriosis and work closely with specialist colorectal surgeons, robotic urologists, radiologists, and pain specialists through the HCA endometriosis MDT.

My specialist procedures include robotic and laparoscopic hysterectomy, robotic myomectomy, excision of endometriosis, ovarian cyst surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, colposcopy and treatment for abnormal cervical smears, vulvoscopy, excision of vulval lesions, laparoscopic sterilisation and reversal procedures, coil insertions, and HRT implants. I also offers Juliet Laser treatment for vaginal atrophy, lichen sclerosus, mild stress urinary incontinence, and vaginismus.

I am accredited in MRCOG, FRCOG, GESEA, and BSCCP, and I am a member of BIARGS, BGCS, IMS, BMS, BSGE, BSCCP, and RCOG. I have over 24 publications in peer-reviewed journals, regularly review scientific articles within Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and have delivered numerous national and international presentations where I have received awards for Best Oral Presentation.

I am known for my holistic, compassionate, and patient-centred approach to care, ensuring women feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
