I have been specialising in gynaecology since 2008 and I have a special interest in laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) and colposcopy. I specialise in general gynaecology with specific expertise in gynaecological oncology surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and minimal access surgery.

I treat patients with general gynaecological complaints such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, pre-menstrual syndrome, menopause and post-menopausal bleeding. To date I have performed over 600 laparoscopies and over 1,000 hysteroscopies to treat and investigate a variety of gynaecological conditions.

I am a certified colposcopist and member of the BSCCP so I am able to perform smear tests, colposcopy and treatment to the cervix to treat cervical pathology or post coital bleeding. I also perform outpatient hysteroscopy and operative outpatient procedures such as endometrial polyp and fibroid resection and endometrial ablation.

I am the hysteroscopy lead for University Hospitals of Birmingham. I am a core member of the oncology MDT and the colposcopy MDT enabling me to discuss patients with confirmed or suspected cancer and complex colposcopy patients.

In addition to face to face appointments, I am also able to offer virtual appointments via video link.
