I have a special interest in Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, soft tissue disorders, connective tissue diseases like Lupus, Osteoporosis and paediatric and adolescent Rheumatology. I am involved in many clinical trials of new treatments for arthritis.
I am a Consultant Rheumatologist, practising within the NHS at Cannock and Wolverhampton Rheumatology Centre, since 2003 as part of a renowned multidisciplinary team.
I qualified from the University of Madras in 1990 and completed my postgraduate degree (MD) in Internal Medicine from the University of Poona. I completed Rheumatology higher specialist training in Wessex and Bath with a period of research in bone health and a stint in Paediatric Rheumatology.
