I have a special interest in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, soft tissue disorders, connective tissue diseases like lupus, osteoporosis and paediatric and adolescent rheumatology. I am involved in many clinical trials of new treatments for arthritis.

I am a Consultant Rheumatologist, practising within the NHS at Cannock and Wolverhampton Rheumatology Centre, since 2003 as part of a renowned multidisciplinary team.

I qualified from the University of Madras in 1990 and completed my postgraduate degree (MD) in Internal Medicine from the University of Poona. I completed rheumatology higher specialist training in Wessex and Bath with a period of research in bone health and a stint in paediatric rheumatology.
