I have worked as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon since the completion of higher surgical training in 2006 and I have expertise in the management of benign and malignant breast diseases. I have excellent feedback from patients demonstrating the high-quality service which I deliver as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
I specialise in benign breast diseases (breast pain, nipple discharge etc.); breast cancer; breast reconstruction including new methods of muscle sparing reconstruction; breast oncoplasty (breast reshaping, augmentation, reduction, Lipofilling); axillary disease (sentinel node biopsy) and hernia (all types).
I work at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital and practice at Spire Hospital (Little Aston) treating full array of breast diseases. I perform breast surgery incorporating oncoplastic techniques and breast reconstruction in my practice. My specialist interests includes Oncoplastic Breast surgery & Minimal axillary surgery.
I have been part of a multi-centre European Group in pioneering new method breast reconstruction which I call the 'Muscle sparing Breast reconstruction (Flip and Flop Technique)' which is relatively painless. I regularly attend local, national and international breast meetings to keep up with the developments in the field. I also have special interest in breast cancer research.
I am proud to work as an Honorary lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
