I was trained in trauma and orthopaedics at Oxford and London. My main interests are in upper limb surgery, sports medicine, joint replacement, knee and foot and ankle surgery, treatment for tennis and golfers elbow.
I am a specialist in shoulder and elbow surgery and am proficient in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery for various shoulder and elbow problems including rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilisation.
I am particularly interested in keyhole surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle. I have considerable experience in joint replacement surgery including shoulder and elbow joint replacements. I have been involved in extensive research involving prosthetic loosening.
I have the following additional qualifications: Diploma in Sports Medicine and I have completed a Fellowship in Upper limb surgery.
