I graduated from S.N.Medical College, Agra and completed my orthopaedic higher surgical training on the North East Thames rotation, London. To complement my general orthopaedic training, I undertook two years of specialist training in foot and ankle surgery including a travelling fellowship in Amsterdam.
I am keen on academics including research, audit and teaching and am an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) instructor. I am actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and am regularly invited as a faculty member to national and international courses and conferences.
I am a reviewer for The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. I have published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
I see patients for a wide variety of foot and ankle problems and surgery including bunion correction, hallux rigidus, hammer and claw toes, rheumatoid foot , tendon surgery including tibialis posterior, achilles tendon and peroneal tendon, sports injuries, midfoot and hindfoot fusions, arthroscopic ankle surgery including ankle fusion, total ankle replacement and posterior ankle arthroscopy.
