I see patients for a wide variety of foot and ankle problems and surgery including bunion correction, hallux rigidus, hammer and claw toes, rheumatoid foot, tendon surgery including tibialis posterior, achilles tendon and peroneal tendon, sports injuries, midfoot and hindfoot fusions, arthroscopic ankle surgery including ankle fusion, total ankle replacement and posterior ankle arthroscopy.
I graduated from S.N.Medical College, Agra and completed my orthopaedic higher surgical training on the North East Thames rotation, London. To complement my general orthopaedic training, I undertook two years of specialist training in foot and ankle surgery including a travelling fellowship in Amsterdam.
I am keen on academics including research, audit and teaching and am an ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) instructor. I am actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, and am regularly invited as a faculty member to national and international courses and conferences.
I am a reviewer for The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Indian Journal of Orthopaedics. I have published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals.
