Gynaecology and/or Obstetrics: Prolapse, Menstrual Disorders, Miscarriage, Menorrhagia, Endometriosis.
I trained at Freie University Berlin, Germany in 1988. For my postgraduate training I undertook specialist training for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the Trent region and spent eighteen months in the department of Foetal/Maternal Medicine in Wellington, New Zealand. I obtained a Diploma in Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound and trained in Gynaecological Ultrasound. Following this, in 2002 I was appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University Hospitals NHS Trust, taking the lead for the delivery suite and directorate lead for guidelines and audit together with multidisciplinary chronic pelvic pain clinic.
