Early pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound, care of miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies, Menstrual disorders/period problems, pelvic pain; acute and chronic, minimal access surgery: hysteroscopy and laparoscopy for diagnosis and treatment: polyp removal, ovarian cysts and adhesiolysis, fertility control counselling, labial repair and reconstruction, vaginal prolapse and perineal repair surgeries, vaginal hysyerectomies, removal of fibroids, abdomional hysterectomies and oopherectomies, family planning procedures.
I am an experienced gynaecolgist and am the lead gynaecologist for emergencies at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
I qualified in 1992 and commenced training as a general surgeon before coming into Obstetrics and Gynaecology and qualified as a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1997.
My specialist training includes Obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound, colposcopy, family planning and hormone replacement therapy among menstrual disorders, early pregnancy care, recurrent miscarriage, pelvic floor repair and psychosexual counselling.
Having completed my specialist training at the Birmingham Women's Hospital , I was appointed consultant gynaecologist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in 2004.
I provide out patient clinic services with Gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound scanning, inpatient gynaecological day procedures and major surgeries.
