I am an experienced gynaecologist and the lead gynaecologist for emergencies at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

I qualified in 1992 and commenced training as a general surgeon before coming into obstetrics and gynaecology and qualified as a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1997.

My specialist training includes obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound, colposcopy, family planning and hormone replacement therapy among menstrual disorders, early pregnancy care, recurrent miscarriage, pelvic floor repair, period problems, polyp removal, vaginal hysterectomies and psychosexual counselling.

Having completed my specialist training at the Birmingham Women's Hospital, I was appointed consultant gynaecologist at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in 2004.

I provide outpatient clinic services, inpatient gynaecological day procedures and major surgeries.
