Professional profile

I am a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, based in Leicester. I have vast experience of elite athlete care at both national and international level, currently working with the England and Wales Cricket Board as a medical officer. Locally, I am club doctor at Leicestershire County Cricket Club and a medical officer at Leicester City Football Club. I have previously worked with Leicester Tigers and Nottingham Forest FC.

I am passionate about optimising the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. I assess and treat a variety of sport, exercise and musculoskeletal problems. During the consultation, if appropriate, I will perform a targeted complaint driven ultrasound. I also perform ultrasound guided as well as unguided injections. I treat difficult tendon problems with therapies such as dry needling, autologous blood injections, high volume injections and extracorporeal shockwave therapy.
