I graduated from Dubai Medical College (UAE) in 1994. I completed my specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology in Liverpool, West Midlands and East Midlands.
I am experienced in the management of general gynaecological conditions (menstrual problems, pelvic pain and early pregnancy problems) and have a special interest in managing women with urinary incontinence, prolapse and postnatal problems.
I achieved a Masters degree from the University of Leicester for my research in the understanding of cultural influences of health seeking behaviour in women with urinary incontinence and have a good understanding of the psychological and social impact of conditions affecting women.
I have set up a perineal clinic to help women with problems after childbirth.
My practice philosophy is to provide holistic care that meets the highest clinical standards and am best known for my friendly down to earth, practical approach, helping my patients make well informed decisions.

I support several charities that work to empower women both nationally and internationally and have run international workshops on improving global women's health.
I have been invited to speak on national radio (BBC and others) on Women's Health Issues.
I can speak fluent Arabic, Hindi and Urdu.
