Surgical removal of benign lump
Dear Sir,
On the 16th July I was admitted to Hartswood as a day patient to have a lump removed from my back. The consultant was a Mr Ogedegbe.
I want to express my gratitude for the excellent treatment I received from every member of staff with whom I had contact. I was made to feel totally at ease and everybody treated me in a caring and professional manner.
The whole experience from start to finish could not be faulted, from administrative, catering, nursing, theatre staff and of course the skill of Mr Ogedegbe and his anaesthetist. My room was very comfortable and quiet. My care after the operation, when for a time I felt unwell, was exemplary. Everything was done to make me as comfortable as possible. Although I was a day patient I was not made to feel hurried or rushed to leave.
I hope that members of staff who were on duty that day and indeed those present at my initial and subsequent visits to the hospital will be notified of my appreciation.
