I am a Consultant Nephrologist and General Medicine Physician. I look after patients with kidney disorders. This covers the whole aspect from acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease and replacement therapy.
I specialise in hypertension and cardiovascular risk reduction especially for those with kidney disease. I also look after patients with glomerular diseases and have extensive practice working with these patients and the use of biological medicines. I also cover general medicine and can be a point of contact to help find the underlying cause.
I also have a keen interest in information technology and interoperability and work at my trust as the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (this entails working with digital services and providing clinical input and direction to our information technology strategy).
I am an honorary lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University.
