Virtual consultations:
I have been in practice as a consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics since 1988 and have extensive experience in lower limb joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee, having undertaken over 12,000 joint replacements.
I also have a major interest in revision surgery of lower limb joints.
I partake in the enhanced recovery programme for hips and knees and have a coordinated team who works towards the best interest of individual patients.
The treatment and surgeries I provide are those of the hip and knee, undertaking joint replacements in all age groups with a specific interest in mini incision approach to the hip and complex reconstruction of the hip both in primary and revisional surgery.
Over the years as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with specific interest in lower limb surgery, I have undertaken over 12,000 joint replacements of the hips and knee.
I lecture to other consultant colleagues and medical professionals on all aspects of joint replacement surgery.
I have been invited to lecture overseas and demonstrate surgical skills. I have carried out teaching programmes where my surgery has been shown by video link to visiting surgeons, where the complexities of revision surgery have been demonstrated.
My aim is to provide an individual service to patients that I see with a view to achieving excellent results using tried and tested implants.
