I am a Consultant in Laparoscopic Upper Gastro-intestinal and General Surgery with a specialist interest in the treatment of gallstones and gallbladder disease. I provide advanced surgical and endoscopic treatments for gallstones, including laparoscopic (keyhole) gallbladder surgery and the treatment of bile duct stones (ERCP).
I perform a high volume of minimally invasive procedures, with a focus on rapid recovery, minimal downtime and excellent patient outcomes. In addition to gallbladder surgery, I treat simple and complex hernias, reflux and other upper gastrointestinal conditions
I studied medicine at Oxford University and King’s College London and undertook higher surgical training in the South-East of England. I was appointed as a Consultant at East Surrey Hospital in 2010. I have held roles including Clinical Lead for Trauma and Endoscopy, and I am currently Clinical Lead for General Surgery at East Surrey Hospital. My private practice mirrors my NHS specialty work.
I offer prompt assessment and treatment for gallstones, with timely access to surgery where needed.
