Lucy Jones is an experienced dietitian, having worked in numerous London hospitals including; Chelsea and Westminster NHS foundation trust, Homerton hospital NHS trust, and Whittington Hospital NHS trust. She covers a range of specialties including bariatrics, weight loss, healthy eating and behaviour change, gastroenterology, IBS, mental health, cardiovascular health and metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and nutrition support. She is well known for her television presenting roles including Channel 4’s The Food Hospital, and ITV’s The Alan Titchmarsh Show. As a dietetic media spokesperson, she regularly appears on television, radio, and written press providing expert comment on nutrition news stories.
After graduating with 1st class honours in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and the Food, Nutrition and Dietetics Prize from London Metropolitan University, she has gone on to read a Masters in Clinical Research with the University of Manchester and undertake a diploma with the National Centre for Eating Disorders. She is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions council and a member of the British Dietetic Association. Lucy enjoys translating current research from different disease states and translating this into dietary plans for her patients.
