I am a specialist in Pain Medicine, with a special interest in interventional-multimodal chronic pain management. I am a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of The Royal College of Anaesthetists, London. In addition, I am a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
After acquiring my primary medical qualification, I completed a master’s degree in Anaesthesiology. I attained my full registration with the General Medical Council in 2003. I underwent further specialist training in Anaesthesia and Pain medicine at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow and St George's School of Anaesthesia, London. During this time, I attained Fellowships from the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London and the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland.
I have extensive experience in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia by working in the UK and abroad. At present I work as a Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at St Helier Hospital and Sutton General Hospital. Prior to this, I was a Consultant in Pain Management at the Royal Free Hospital, London.
I have a special interest in the comprehensive, patient-centred management of chronic pain conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, post traumatic/surgical pain, pelvic pain and craniofacial pain. I utilise various interventional and non-interventional techniques, including life style modification, physical and complimentary therapies to achieve this.
