'One-stop-shop' shoulder pain diagnosis

21 September 2017

Suffering with a shoulder pain? Why wait?

Try our ‘one-stop-shop’ for rapid shoulder diagnosis.

Our shoulder specialist, Harry Brownlow, offers a personalised, dedicated diagnostic service in a single consultation, where he can:

  • Review x-rays and patient history
  • Undertake quick, painless, ultrasound
  • Determine an accurate diagnosis
  • If needed, administer an ultrasound-guided cortisone injection.

The added benefit of this ‘one-stop-shop’ is that treatment often obviates the need for an MRI scan – saving time and money – and the ultrasound injection approach can alleviate the problem without the need for surgery.

Recent figures show that 70% of patients undergoing the ultrasound technique are successfully treated without the need for surgery.
