Professional profile

Mr Smith achieved his MBBS in 1991. He undertook his surgical training in the Oxford Region, obtained his FRCS in 1996, MS in 2003 and CCST in 2004. He underwent his subspeciality training in breast disease and his fellowship post at South Manchester University Hospital in oncoplastic breast surgery. His research Masters Degree was on Micrometasteses in Breast Cancer at University of London.

An experienced breast and reconstructive surgeon who specialises in mammoplasty techniques to try and avoid mastectomy when possible. Mr Smith also performs partial breast reconstruction using LICAP flaps and implant and ADM total breast reconstruction as well as LD flap and implant reconstructions.
