Join us at Spire Cardiff Hospital for a free mini consultation evening. Mr Tom Betts, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon, is our cataract expert who will be available to speak to you about your cataract concerns, giving you the chance to have a private 10 minute conversation and ask any specific questions you may have.
How do I book?
Places are limited so booking is essential.
Press the 'reserve a spot' and our private patient coordinator will give you a call to allocate you an appointment time. You will be offered a complementary 10-minute mini-consultation between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

By road from the east
Exit the M4 motorway at Junction 29 and continue along the A48(M). Exit the A48 at the Pentwyn junction and take the last exit off the roundabout signposted 'hospital'. Continue along this road until reaching the first mini-roundabout, where you should continue straight ahead. At the second mini roundabout, take the third exit off the roundabout and turn immediately left into the hospital.
By road from the west
Exit the M4 motorway at Junction 30 (Cardiff Gate) and take the third exit off the roundabout. Continue along the dual carriageway, and go straight across the first roundabout towards the A48. Turn right at the next roundabout onto the A48 towards Cardiff and take the next exit signposted 'Pentwyn'. Take the last exit from the roundabout signposted 'hospital'. Continue along this road until reaching a mini-roundabout. Take the third exit off the roundabout and turn immediately left into the hospital.
By rail
Cardiff Central railway station is a 15-minute taxi ride from the hospital.
By bus
The following buses run every 10 minutes from Cardiff Central station, stopping at Croescadarn Road: 57 and 58.
Parking
Free parking is available at Spire Cardiff Hospital for both our patients and their visitors. Patients and visitors will need to register their vehicles on the tablets provided in reception areas on arrival to avoid a parking penalty.
