I work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at Spire Cardiff Hospital focusing on all aspects of spinal surgery including degeneration, trauma, tumour, infection and deformity.

In January 2020, I joined Cardiff and Vale University Health Board as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in spinal surgery.

I completed my basic surgical training in South Wales, rotating through accident and emergency, trauma and orthopaedics, ENT, general surgery and plastic surgery.

My higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics was based in Welsh Deanery and I successfully completed my fellowship exams from Royal College of Surgeons.

I further specialised in spinal surgery by completing fellowships at world renowned centres such as Welsh Centre for Spinal Trauma and Surgery, Manchester Children's Hospital and Salford Royal Hospital.

I worked as a locum consultant at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital for six months specialising in paediatric spinal deformity before joining Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
