Virtual consultations:
I have been a Consultant ENT Surgeon for 20 years. My main specialist area is functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, nasal septal reconstruction and surgery for sinusitis and polyps. I am referred difficult rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty cases (including cases who have already undergone surgery) by colleagues in ENT and plastic surgery throughout South Wales. I also specialise in children's ENT and voice disorders. In the NHS, in addition to seeing patients with complex nasal architecture problems, I run a regular voice clinic and also a clinic for young children with hearing loss.
I specialise in rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty surgery. I perform over 100 rhinoplasty operations per year and have done so for the past 10 years. I also perform secondary rhinoplasty (where the original surgery was performed by a different surgeon), which are technically more difficult than primary surgeries. I perform 15 to 20 secondary rhinoplasties each year. I also see children with ENT problems such as tonsillitis, "glue ear", nasal problems and sleep apnoea. I have an interest in voice disorders including professional voice users and singers. I have looked after the singers in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition for the past 18 years and look forward to the next competition. I am a member of the British Voice Association.
I have performed over 1,500 rhinoplasty operations over the past 20 years.
