I am a Consultant Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon with advanced minimally invasive skills. I have a specialist interest in general paediatric surgery of childhood. This includes performing the following: circumcision, inguinal herniotomy, orchidopexy, umbilical hernia repair, gastroscopy, division of tongue tie and epigastric hernia repair.

To date I have performed over 3,000 paediatric and neonatal surgical procedures.

I have a specialist interest in paediatric upper GI and thoracic cases, specifically in the management of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, gallstone disease, oesophageal atresia and congenital lung malformations.

In addition to my neonatal and paediatric surgical training, I undertook a 12 months Bariatric Surgery Fellowship and a six months Upper GI Fellowship.

I am the Training Programme Director for Paediatric Surgery in South Wales and the Lead for Paediatric Trauma at University Hospital of Wales.

I am an honorary lecturer in Paediatric Surgery at Cardiff University and to date have published 26 articles in peer reviewed journals.
