Specialises in

I am currently employed as a consultant in Cardiff and Vale UHB in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Apart from providing care in all aspects of general gynaecology, I offer specialist services in uterovaginal prolapse, disorders of perineum and urogynaecology.

I have expertise in vaginal surgery performing both major and minor gynaecological operations. I contribute to the national data base of surgical procedures for prolapse at the British Society of Urogynaecology. I run a specialist outpatient clinic dedicated to perineal trauma and pelvic floor disorders at the University Hospital of Wales. I was previously involved in research looking at sexual functions in women with prolapse/urinary incontinence.

I have performed over 300 surgical procedures for prolapse in the last five years in the NHS and my private practice.
