I am currently employed as a Consultant in Cardiff and Vale UHB in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Apart from providing care in all aspects of General Gynaecology, I offer specialist services in Uterovaginal Prolapse, Disorders of Perineum and Urogynaecology.
I have expertise in vaginal surgery performing both major and minor Gynaecological operations. I contribute to the national data base of surgical procedures for prolapse in British Society of Urogynaecology. I run a specialist outpatient clinic dedicated to perineal trauma and pelvic floor disorders in University Hospital of Wales. I was previously involved in research looking at sexual function in women with prolapse/urinary incontience.
I have performed over 300 surgical procedures for prolapse in the last 5 years in NHS and my private practice.
I am the Lead for Gynaecology Audit and Risk Management at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
