At Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital I undertake a Tuesday outpatient clinic. The clinics are run to allow for rapid access review of patients with chest pain and other cardiac conditions. They are run on a one-stop basis with facilities for echocardiography (which I perform personally). Treadmill testing, 24 hour ECG and event recording is always available.
My specialist interests are interventional cardiology in coronary disease (PCI-angioplasty) and valve disease with a special expertise in structural heart disease including ASD/PFO closure and valve dilatation and replacement. I also have special expertise in cardiac adaptation to sport and exercise. I see pilots for re-certification (I am a CAA registered Cardiologist).
