Caroline has been working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for almost 20 years and believes posture and alignment are crucial when looking at the causes of pain and injuries. This along with her excellent listening skills and ability to simply explain symptoms allows patients to better understand their condition and proves invaluable in her treatments and success. She has expertise in a wide variety of treatment modalities that include exercises, mobilization techniques, acupuncture and Pilates.
Caroline qualified from Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in Birmingham in1987 and gained junior rotational experience in Nottingham and Leicester before working as a physiotherapist in New Zealand .On her return to the UK she started working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in GP clinics and the community in Huntingdon. Following this, she moved to the Cambridge Lea Hospital in 1999 as a part-time physiotherapist in outpatients and during this time has been involved in treating a varied caseload of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and recreational sports injuries.
Caroline has qualified as an APPI matwork & Pilate’s instructor and has been running beginners & intermediate Pilates Classes for 2 years. She regularly sees1:1 patients for Pilates, who benefit from her experience as both physiotherapist & Pilates instructor.
She also has a caseload of post operative orthopaedic patients including hip arthroscopies and shoulder surgery and over this time has become expert at answering patients concerns and knowing the details of each consultant’s protocol.
Caroline maintains her own fitness by running including mountain marathons, adventure racing and Yoga.
