I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust with an elective practice at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre. I specialise in primary and revision hip surgery, pelvic and acetabular trauma and complex lower limb trauma.

In my current role I am directly responsible for overseeing and delivering care to a large variety of patients with complex needs, from those with arthritis of the hip joint or with a painful failing hip replacements, to those with pelvic fractures or limb threatening injuries. I treat every patient as an individual and personalise their assessment, operative or non operative treatment, and recovery and rehabilitation needs accordingly. My hip replacement implants are proven with excellent long term results.

I graduated in medicine from University College London in 2010. I also attained a BSc in medical sciences with Infection in 2008. I completed my higher surgical training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex rotation in 2020. I went on fellowship to South Australia where my role at the Royal Adelaide Hospital was to provide pelvic and acetabular trauma, complex limb trauma and hip arthroplasty surgery. I gained my accreditation for robotic hip surgery during my time in Australia.

I have a role mentoring post graduate surgical trainees, trauma and hip fellows in Bristol. I have a number of publications in peer reviewed journals.
